So, you're involved in teaching others outdoors, but you want to get better at identifying, say, bird calls, flowers or footprints. Maybe you wish you 'knew more' about the natural environment you already work in. Or perhaps you're looking for more activities for your 'toolbox'. Consider joining an Interpretation Workshop.

Description

Workshops exploring how we educate and inspire people in the natural world. A variety of indoor and outdoor sessions are designed to equip instructors, leaders and teachers with skills and knowledge pertaining to natural history, psychology of learning and environmental education. These flexible and tailored workshops are designed to be interactive, very practical and thought-provoking.

These workshops can be combined with any of my other guided days, to create a rich and varied learning experience. I can deliver at your own base, or another convenient location.

Attendees will receive a selection of learning resources to take away with them.

Note: Groups of between 7 and 15 people may be accommodated by arrangement.

Thanks again for all the hard work that you put into making the day such a success… we’re going to…challenge the instructors to try a new [idea] each time they go out. I know that at least two of them have already incorporated different ideas you taught us into Acharn waterfall walks, so that’s really positive – it obviously made an impression!
