Description

The Ride Cairngorms Trails day is a great chance to hit some of the best forest MTB routes in the country. If you are just visiting the area, or are a local and want to find out what’s on your doorstep, join one of these guided days to get a head start.

The focus of this day is on forest trails in the glen – these range from wide, gentle-angled gravel roads, to steep, twisty and rooty chutes. But don’t worry – share your experience and goals at booking and we can choose some routes to match.

Our forest trails are well managed by volunteers, but they are sometimes affected by weather, forestry or wildlife considerations. Therefore, getting a guide is a sensible move to avoid wasted effort and find the best descents.

Thankfully, midges and really wet weather aren’t too common on this side of the Highlands! But we will be on the edges of Britains biggest expanse of arctic-alpine wilderness. We might share a few tips and tricks along the way, but the main aim is to ride together on some awesome Cairngorms MTB trails.
