Equipment hire

Mainly, this is kit available for guests on our courses and guided days. Hire equipment is always subject to availability and a small part of the fee covers admin costs.

Outdoor hire equipment includes a complete ski touring set, avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe set, mountaineering helmets, ice axe and crampons and binoculars for wildlife watching.

All hire outdoor equipment is well maintained and adjusted specifically to you, where needed. Generally, items hired as a set will not be hired seperately.

A deposit may be required at booking.

You will receive full instructions on using the equipment during guiding. More info can be found in the Outdoor gear and Skills sections of the Blog.
