Join me for a wildlife tour on the wonderful Isle of Mull! This rugged, beautiful inner hebridean island boasts some of the best wildlife viewing opportunities in the UK. From eagles to otters, hen harriers to short-eared owls and dolphins to puffins, a tour of Mull presents almost a who’s-who of British wildlife. Draw on my 20-plus years of experience to help you explore one of my favourite islands. Highlights include:
- Some of the best raptor-watching spots in the country
- Secluded weed-strewn shores inhabited by otters
- Beautiful Hebridean coastlines
- Expert guiding throughout
- Birding telescope and ID books available for guest use
- Qualified and experienced outdoor leader
This private, tailored tour is designed to showcase the key wildlife species of the Isle of Mull, with as much or as little walking as you like. Enjoy remote hikes, join a boat operator, or view from the roadside – all are possible*.
A main focus of this Mull tour is birding, but there is plenty of other great wildlife to discover on this isle. Favourites include otters, whales and dolphins and rare wildflowers. ‘Minimum impact’ principles play a major role in our activities, meaning we always prioritise the welfare of wildlife and seek to avoid disturbance. I can’t guarantee the Isle of Mull’s weather will always be dry, nor every wildlife species will show up on this tour. But you can expect spectacular views, quality wildlife encounters and great memories. Food and accomodation NOT included.
