September activities
With the end of August comes the close of (meteorological) summer – September activities reflect the change to autumn. Now the sea at it’s warmest around Scotland’s coasts and therefore this is a great period for watersports. Basking sharks are putting in an appearance and ospreys are migrating south. However, there will still be dry, sunny days, so there’s still plenty of scope for great biking, hiking and foraging. With October, autumn properly gets going!
